[Peace-discuss] another Tue 3/27 event: League of Women Voters "Campaign Finance: The Real Price of a Vote"

The local League of Women Voters has been working with the Law School for
the past two years.  Students in Beckett's trial advocacy class have been
observing in our courtrooms for several years; but, for the past two, they
have been filling out questionnaires.  Data  from hundreds of hours in the
courtrooms are compiled and presented in a report.

Last year, the Gazette reported on one finding:  that the number of
minorities in the jury pool (from which the jury is seclected) is
disproportionately small.  Efforts have been made to correct that.
