Sorry all -- note that Bob posted this *yesterday* (Wed) morning,
talking about the Wed afternoon demonstration.  The mailing list
held it for some spurious reason -- I didn't notice that until
this (Thu) morning and pried it loose.

So if it seemed as though Bob was living in a time warp,
it's my fault.  His connection with time is just fine.
