It will be incredibly difficult to pursue a just foreign policy if we don't link it strongly with the revitalization 
of local economies and the energy and environmental sustainability.  The central reason for American 
involvement in that region of the world is resources, especially oil, that reap windfall profits for 
corporations well-connected to the government.
