Dear Friends:If you know any progressive high school teachers in the area, please pass on the following event information to them.  Iraq Veterans Against the War is trying to get as many high school students to the following counter-recruitment event as possible, which is part of our national Truth In Recruiting Campaign.  

Sept. 25: Iraq Veterans Against the War sponsor The Ground Truth                                                               
 Come See The Ground Truth, a movie presentation sponsored by Iraq Veterans Against the War. Afterwards, there will be a discussion led by IVAW members.

 Tuesday, Sept. 25, 8PM
 Illinois Disciples Foundation  
 This event is being showed as part of the IVAW's national "Truth In Recruiting" Month, a time in which the organization plans to engage in counter-recruitment activity as a means to expose the hypocrisy of the war and to encourage students and those in need not to enlist in the military.
