The kurds had already bonbed the pipeline on the
turkish end so this  ~ 1% of the oil supply was
already off line.

but caspian oil over all has been a disapointment for
the majors anyway

some of the decrease united statesians are seeing in
gas prices is the strengthening of the dollar.   and I
suspect that perhaps the seven sisters, oops there's
only 3 now. .  are taking less profit to fend off the
"potential" threat of slightly more populism in a big
D democratic win in the fall ..  
 3rd quarter profits will be annouced after the
elections, or before . . ?
