[Peace-discuss] Fwd: Your seat at the table

No reason we have to choose one, is there? We can submit AWARE's 'document' on the website right away, "chime in" in support of Code Pink's call for a meeting, and get our ideas up to Chicago for the conference, too?

We could also use whatever contacts we have with peace groups to promote the idea of comments on change.gov and a meeting (mentioning of course what we think the major points should be).

We'll never know until we try.

It's the UFPJ national conference.

Note that Code Pink - which is also part of UFPJ - sent an alert
recently which called on the Obama people to meet w reps of the peace
movement. so there is already a pending request that folks could chime
in on.
