all three been promising for weeks to attack Gaza. And it was the "realists" in 
the American government who plotted a military coup against Hamas, still the 
group with the best title to democratic leadership in Palestine. --CGE]


ISRAEL LAUNCHES MISSILE STRIKE ON GAZA STRIP
Israel fired dozens of missiles on the Gaza Strip, causing numerous casualties 
and destroying several Hamas installations. The attack follows the end of a

Israeli aircraft launched air attacks across Gaza today, killing at least 155 
people, including the Hamas police chief and other officials, according to
