An interesting perspective on the presidential race from Sweden:

Dennis is one of the few members of the American political establishment that would even be considered viable in most western European countries, and yet he is treated mockingly and disparagingly by the american media, academic and military industrial complex.

I find it so important to keep Dennis in the big house that I have left Paris for Cleveland for 6 weeks to work on his congressional re-election campaign, where he is being challenged by a man (Joe Cimperman) with the backing of the media, the pharmecutical and insurance companies, and, of course, the Republican party (which knows that the district is unlikely to go Republican, though certainly can go over to a corporate Democrat (just as good for them)).

Here is Dennis' official withdrawal from the presidential speech, which I take to be a good summation of the current state of American politics and the role of movements for change: http://youtube.com/watch?v=5tApDGClSSI

Cheers,
