The flyer says:

The Folly of Attacking Iran:
Time for Real Diplomacy

Featuring:
Stephen Kinzer
Hadi Esfahani

Stephen Kinzer - author of All the Shah's Men: An American Coup and the Roots of Middle East Terror

The Bush Administration deploys rhetoric of confrontation against Iran including the threat of military force. They tell Americans that Iran is on the brink of developing nuclear weapons, is supporting terrorism, is helping to kill American soldiers in Iraq, and is determined to destroy Israel. Therefore, their reasoning goes, we must prepare to attack Iran. Stephen Kinzer, the award winning author and former foreign correspondent for the New York Times rejects this argument.

Hadi Esfahani - Department of Economics at UIUC
Hadi Esfahani is a professor of Economics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is the President of the Middle East Economic Association and Director of the Global Studies Initiative. He worked as an Economist at the Policy Research Department at the World Bank from 1994 to 1995. Dr. Esfahani researches theoretical and empirical issues in the political economy of development, as well as the role of country institutions in the formation and reform of fiscal, trade, and regulatory policies.
