>During the last decade or so, due to rapid globalization, and increased awareness of living in a pluralistic society, acquisition of second language, and in particular Arabic has assumed importance for effective communication and cultural understanding.

>Learn the Arabic alphabet. Construct Arabic noun and verb sentences, and be able to comprehend and engage in short conversations about familiar topics. The course will also familiarize students with cultural nuances.

>Students of any level may apply. Their levels will be assessed prior to the first class and only the biggest class of a uniform level will be conducted from the pool of all applicants.  A needs assessment will subsequently be administered, and a course syllabus will be tailored accordingly.
