One could argue that it's a clever war orchestrated by a greedy power-hungry nefarious few, while the AWARE and not so aware many stood by helpless to stop it...

How disgusting....  What a waste of resources.....  We've missed so many
opportunities to genuinely 
improve our society and tackle the degraded environment and its associated
problems because of this 
stupid war.
