UPDATED 5:30 p.m. SPRINGFIELD -- President Bush plans to visit Peoria July 25 to hold a private fund-raising event for Republican congressional candidate Aaron Schock, the candidate said Thursday.

Schock, now a state lawmaker from Peoria, is running against Democrat Colleen Callahan of Kickapoo in the 18th Congressional District.
