[Peace-discuss] Do Demoncrats Like Peace?

John,

The Democrat party has historically been the War Party.
The defection of so-called neoconservatives from the Democrat party
(Scoop Jackson Democrats) into the Republican party has blurred that 
distinction
such that warmongering has become a trans-partisan, even non-partisan 
endeavour
if one limits the consideration to the 2 main parties.

Obviously an attitude of warmongering is supported by both mainstream 
Democrats
and mainstream Republicans and those opposed to the war tend to be those
that are deviate from party lines such as Kucinich, Paul, and McKinney.  
The
Constitutionalist Party and the Libertarian Party and the Green Party 
are quite
solidly anti-war/non-interventionalist, whereas the one can find no such 
salient
characteristic among Democrats nor Republicans.
