Speaking of which, did anyone hear Focus 580 today with Maria Escobar-Lemmon talking about Latin America and partially about Chávez? At one point, a caller mentioned how little a threat Chávez really is, and Escobar-Lemmon responded with "but Chávez is a threat because he controls 1/5 of the US's oil". Nobody challenged her! I wanted to shout how often does the US interfere with other countries by cutting them off or threatening them? And what right to we have to the world's energy resources? And look what a mess we repeatedly make in Latin America in general. We are a huge bully! Chávez for the most part is just standing his ground instead of running and hiding from us.
