[Peace-discuss] Uncle Noam on the BBC

Uncle Noam is not going to be satisfied with anything except perhaps 
himself. He's a utopian. The problem with utopians is that they disregard 
the contrariness of human nature. As the joke goes in the life sciences, 
"under the most carefully controlled experimental conditions, the organism 
will do whatever it damned well pleases."

Obama solicited our opinions in his acceptance speech. His record indicates 
that he will consider all sides of issues. The problem, as always, is how 
to get our opinions past the gate-keepers. There is no time to waste. It is 
likely that he will move very fast once in office.
