Of course, "we've gone along with" the system. We don't have the numbers to do otherwise (even if the left could come to consensus and stop all the in-fighting). And I vastly prefer Pepsi to Coke (which I cannot stand) -- both for its taste and its reputation.

In a sense, of course, it is, insofar as we've gone along with a system
that 
produces the Coke/Pepsi choice of McCain/Obama (or Bush/Kerry, Bush/Gore et
al.)
