Dear Friends,

It's almost time for Champaign County Health Care Consumers (CCHCC) annual
Phone-A-Thon, and we need lots of volunteers to help!

Please read below for more information about how you can help us out one
evening next week.

About the CCHCC Phone-A-Thon:
The Phone-A-Thon is one of CCHCC's most important events because it allows
us to connect by phone with thousands of our members, get them involved, and
raise the funds needed to continue working for quality, affordable health
care in our community. This year we are asking our members to support our
efforts to pass legislation in Illinois that would provide single-payer
health coverage for all residents of our state.

The more people who volunteer to help make phone calls, the more CCHCC
supporters we can reach, and more people will be informed and engaged to try
to help make single-payer health care a reality for the state of Illinois.
Please help us by volunteering for CCHCC's Phonathon.

VOLUNTEERING FOR CCHCC'S PHONATHON:

WHAT: 2008 CCHCC Phone-A-Thon

WHEN: September 22nd, 23rd, 24th, and 25th (Monday through Thursday)

TIME:	5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each night

FOOD:	Dinner will be provided to all volunteers!

WHERE: CCHCC Office - 44 East Main Street, Suite 208
downtown Champaign in the Lincoln Building (across from Jupiter's Bar and
the High Dive)

VOLUNTEER INSTRUCTIONS:  Volunteers should arrive promptly at 5:00 p.m. for

appreciate your willingness to help.
