I'm continually surprised at the number of (smart, generally well-informed) 
people I talk to who have never heard of Medicare-for-all.

The power of our political establishment is shown in its ability to control the 
terms of the debate.

Obama and the Democrats, in the interest of their rich friends, pretend their 
gimcrack thousand-page bill is the only option.
