[Peace-discuss] Join AWARE discussion Tuesday 1pm

Members and friends of AWARE are invited to participate in a discussion of the 
war -- and its attendant social evils -- on Tuesday 16 June 1-2pm in the studios 
of Urbana Public Television (aka the Urbana City Council chambers).

The discussion will be recorded by UPTV and cablecast on channel 6 at 10pm 
Tuesday evening with the program title "AWARE On the Air."

The program consists of comments on America's Long War in the Middle East, and 
on the resistance to it, locally and nationally, by Americans appalled at their 
government's betrayal of our democratic principles.  Members and friends of 
AWARE are invited to present their own comments on the matter -- and/or engage 
in the discussion.

We begin with a calendar of recent & upcoming antiwar events, with thanks to 
Randall Cotton for the minutes of last Sunday's AWARE meeting.  (AWARE meets 
every Sunday 5-6:30PM in the basement of the old post office in Urbana. Visitors
