"Toxic fiefdoms"?! As in, pestilential appanages? His mystification is so far
from reality that he has to mix his metaphors from pre-capitalist sources?
In fact, the column is a particularly disgusting defense of the USG's pro-war
and pro-Wall Street policies, couched as praise of Obama. --CGE
