"Jerusalem and the Three Abrahamic Faiths" will discuss the importance of Jerusalem for understanding among Islam, Christianity, and Judaism. The lecture will also explore the impact of the Israeli occupation on Jerusalem.

Mai Abdul Rahman is currently a board member of the Washington Interfaith Alliance for Middle East Peace, an interfaith organization composed of Christians, Jews, and Muslims committed to working and informing individuals and groups about the need for a just peace in Palestine/Israel, while examining the conflict from the perspective of its multiple religious dimensions.

She is also the President and Founder of the American Palestinian Women's Association, a non-profit, non-political secular organization established by concerned American Palestinian women in Northern Virginia, Washington, DC, and Maryland to address social and cultural issues pertinent to Palestinian women and their families.
