yeah, one thing that's striking to me about this, is that when peace
lobbyists in DC report from their lobbying visits in Dem Congressional
offices on Afghanistan war, they report that the offices are reluctant
to challenge Obama - don't want to hurt the President, give the new
guy a chance, etc.

But on Gitmo, they are happy to hurt and undermine Obama, based on
total nonsense. The US doesn't have the capacity to hold dangerous
prisoners? Give me a break.

So that suggests that the "don't want to hurt Obama" stuff is a bit of
a dodge...
