[Peace-discuss] Ten Things About Judge Sonia Sotomayor

Perhaps you should read the article by Tom Hayden, if you have not  
already, concerning Move-On.

I fear that Obama nominated her at least in part because he knew she  
would go along with his policies, especially those concerning  
government transparency, executive power, and the human rights of  
political/WOT/Guantanamo prisoners. She also seems to favor the  
restriction of abortion/women's rights.

Being smart, and having risen from below, and being Hispanic, does not  
make her necessarily a wise choice in view of our problems of war and  
peace, and the sustainability of our economic and social system.

Just my view, in response to your forward.
