Yes, I heard about Dobbs leaving CNN. The thing is that people
actually believe as Dobbs does*

* A postal carrier and a driver for O'Brian Auto Park were
independently rhetoric similar to Dobbs'. They both assume that anyone
with a Latino accent or Latino look is illegally working in the United
States. But somehow those "illegals" have all the $8 an hour jobs. I
tried to tell him that most of the people he was complaining about at
McDonalds and "clogging up the health care system" are actually
legally here -- either citizens or with visa that allow them to work.
The real illegal immigrants are virtually invisible people. They don't
earn any where near minimum wage. Employers pay the illegal immigrants
as little as possible and those people have no rights so they can't
complain about wages.

But there is hope. The driver also informed me that Walmart is trying
to undercut small businesses and take over the entire market. If he
can see this clearly, perhaps he can eventually see the immigration
issues a little differently.
