I looked up some more information on the Beyond the Chief exhibit. I
know the exhibit has been vandalized 6 times since it was installed
February 2009.

I see the exhibit as being in two parts. One part are the signs along
West Nevada (and other places) saying "Respect Native Hosts [:] Wea
Peoria Piankesaw Kaskaskia" (see attached image)

The second part is a group of signs at the Native American House 1210
West Nevada Street, Urbana. These signs resemble official city and
state signs. They have the words "Fighting Illini" printed backwards
to provoke the viewer to reflect upon the past and to recognize a more
complex history to this land. The second and third lines say "TODAY
YOUR HOST IS" and the bottom line has the name of a tribe. (see
attached image)

The third image attached shows that one of the official looking signs
was stolen.
