[Kind of defeats the purpose. To take on the issue of over-reliance on
dirty fuels, they make a bus tour. Two groups of buses crossing the
country. They will even fly you to and from your home in order to meet

Subject: Operation Free Bus Tour - For Iraq & Afghanistan Veterans

VoteVets.org is working to make America more secure by taking on the
issue of our over-reliance on dirty fuels and the major security
problems caused by climate change.

As a part of this effort we are assising in launching the Operation
Free bus tour. Two buses will run concurrently at the same time. Buses
will run through the following states- Northern Route MT, ND, SD, MN,
WI, MI, OH, PA, NH and ME - Southern Route AR, MO, NE, IA, IN, OH, WV,
VA, DC. The tour will begin on Oct 12th and end on Oct 25th. Please
contact me at pgranato at votevets.org if you are interested in
participating or want specific details on events in your state. ANY
Iraq / Afghan Vets (who are off Active Duty) may participate. You can
participate in a number of ways. All travel expenses will be covered
by Operation Free. See below-

1- There are openings to come on the bus for the whole time.
Obviously this is a large time commitment.

2- You can come on the bus WHEREVER you would like for
2-3+ days. OpFree will fly you to meet the bus and back to your home.
This is a moderate time commitment.

3- You can meet us at a stop that is near your home for a scheduled
press event. (see the attached schedule) This will likely only take a
few hours if there is a stop nearby.

There will also be a town hall in Las Vegas on November 7, 2009 as a
culmination. If you make a time commitment on the bus tour we may
offer you an expense paid trip to the town hall event.
