Wouldn't it be appropriate to determine first who was telling the truth?

I think in fact it was Obama, when he denied that non-citizens would have any
right to medical care under his program.  (And of course they should, as they do
e.g. in France.)

But I'm astonished at the diversion of attention from an unfortunate aspect of
the president's program by an attempt to quell "disrespectful" speech.

If you suppress uncivil questions, you don't have to answer them, and that seems 
to be the way the administration prefers it.  --CGE
