Dear UFPJ'ers,

We want to extend a cordial invitation to you to participate in the
Afghanistan Working Group.

The AWG provides focus and support for UFPJ groups working to end the war in
Afghanistan.    We share experiences, generate messaging, develop
literature, post web resources, promote Afghanistan work by our member
groups, and suggest coordinated action across those UFPJ groups that wish to
participate.    The AWG conveners are Cole Harrison of United for Justice
with Peace in Boston, and Janet Weil from Code Pink in the Bay Area.

We have a listserv (averages 3-5 messages/day) where we exchange updates and
ideas, and we hold a conference call every other Thursday at 5pm eastern.
The next call is this Thursday.   I've attached its agenda and the notes
from the previous call for your information.

Please respond to this email if you'd like to be added to our list.
