[Peace-discuss] [Peace] Officer Norbits suspended for 30 days for killing Kiwane

(Note: I took this off Peace and put on Peace-discuss instead).
This tempts me to say, cynically, that I'd gladly forfeit a month's pay to accidentally get rid of someone on my mental hit list...
But looking seriously at an all too serious issue, this is HUGE: it recognizes that Norbits was NOT discharging his duty properly when he discharged his gun. Of course he himself should have been/should be discharged, and docking him 30 day's pay is obscene, as if that's what a young life is worth... but I think this surely opens the door for a successful legal suit, which the internal police report did not.
