Obama Linguistically Morphing Into Bush 'War is tough!' It's tough, I tell you! By Lori Price 13 May 2010 On Wednesday, President Barack Obama gave his 'war is tough' speech to Hamid Karzai and a group of obsequious media trolls at a White House news conference. Obama said that there would be some 'hard fighting' ahead in Afghanistan. Apparently, Obusha is abandoning the soaring rhetoric which has served him well as a cover for policies that benefit his corporaterrorist paymasters.
President Obama also informed us that the US commitment to Afghanistan [aka US contractors and mercenary firms] will go *well* beyond 2011.
'The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.'
Hopefully, the alleged 'left' will wake up long before that, and find a decent candidate to run for president in 2012.

'Hard fighting' ahead in Afghanistan, Obama warns 12 May 2010 The war in Afghanistan will get worse before it gets better, President Barack Obama said Wednesday, but he declared his plan to begin withdrawing U.S. forces next year remains on track. "What I've tried to emphasize is the fact that there is going to be some hard fighting over the next several months," Obama said at a White House news conference with Afghan President Hamid Karzai. He spoke as the U.S.-led forces in Afghanistan prepared for a push into the Taliban's birthplace in Kandahar Province.
Congress Hopes to Pass $60 Billion War Measure Next 12 May 2010 The Senate Appropriations Committee is readying a "War Funding Bill" attracting special interest groups and projects, unemployment extensions does not appear to be one of them. The bill, or supplemental bill requested to support efforts in both Afghanistan and Iraq at a modest $33 billion however; lawmakers have already attached an additional $27 billion. Anxious lawmakers have already lined up to get their fair-share of projects in, prior to the Memorial Day break. An additional $5.1 billion will go the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to cover strained disaster relief funds adding, $2.8 billion to the Haitian [HAARP] Earthquake fund. Sources state that in addition, $4.5 billion for "other foreign aid accounts, which translates into more monies for Pakistan and Iraq.
