An entertaining and informative documentary on the history and destruction of the U.S. clothing industry.

Focused primarily on New York City, with great old news photos and film footage of the Triangle Shirt Factory Fire of 1911, the rise of the Garmet Workers Union, and the successful industry that provided good middle class income jobs and an abundance of small business oppurtunities.
A rags to riches to rags story of how ; NAFTA, Democratic and Republican administrations, and corporate interests in general systematicly destroyed this vibrant domestic industry.
Interviews with former and current U.S. garmet workers and small business owners, and film images of the third world sweat shops that now produce 95 % of our clothing, including a fire in a sweat shop in Bangladesh that killed hundreds of women and young girls a few years ago.
A complete circle backwards to the conditions that led to the Triangle Shirt Factory Fire of 1911.
