Hello Sanford,I'd like to add my name to those requesting that the Art host showings of South of the Border, Oliver Stone's new documentary. I'm including the email that Bob Naiman sent to Peace-discuss. Thanks in advance for giving it yr consideration. --Jenifer
>As I imagine some of you are aware, Oliver Stone has a new documentary out about South America called "South of the Border." It's a series of interviews with progressive South American leaders, mixed with some historical background and interviews with a few analysts. Chavez, Morales, Correa, Lula, Fernandez, Lugo. If you've seen the Irish documentary about Venezuela, "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised," you'll recognize some of the footage and ideas.

Friend of C-U Mark Weisbrot is very involved with this project - he wrote the
original script and is currently touring with Oliver to promote the film.
The film is in commercial distribution. I believe that there is going to be a Chicago screening in the next few months. We could try to set up a C-U screening, and if we manage to time it right, I think we could get Mark to come down and answer questions after the film.
