Just to let you know some of the news of the week conversations at
tonight's AWARE meeting:
* High rate of birth defects in Fallujah, Iraq
* High rate of birth defects in off-spring of US military who have
served in Iraq
* Cost of keeping 1 soldier on the ground in Iraq; Cost of keeping 1
soldier on the ground in Afghanistan.
* The falsified suicides of the 3 Gtmo inmates. (June 10, 2006), the
cover-up of the possible homicides, and the Jan 2010 news the Obama
administration failed to investigate seriously, and may even have
continued, the cover-up.
* The suits against Blackwater: everything from suing Prince for
murder, suit of charging the government for prostitutes, suit of
selling guns to insurgents, ... Iraq's suit against Blackwater.
