[Peace-discuss] [Peace] 4th of July: "150 Years of Local Heroes"

Some how Stuart seems to think that Lincoln was anti-war AND anti-racist; this is a questionable assumption and assertion at best. Aside from people like John Lee Johnson and others that I have mentioned in a previous post, there is Vernon L. Barkstall.

Maybe celebrate "really really local" local heroes like AWARE, CU Citz, CCHCC, A Woman's Place, Safe Haven, ... ... ?

This year's C-U 4th of July theme is out:

            150 Years of Local Heroes

Should AWARE do something? We have until June 20th to sign up.

I bet we could find some antiwar and anti-racist local heroes.

Lincoln could be one of them. We have a bunch of signs with Lincoln quotes
which we couldn't use last July 4th due to the downpour.
