If many Americans see the movie Budrus, about the successful
nonviolent resistance of Palestinians and Israelis against the route
of the Israeli "separation barrier" and its confiscation of
Palestinian land in the West Bank village of Budrus, it could lead to
concrete changes in U.S. policy that would lead to real improvement in
the ability of Palestinians in the West Bank to free themselves from
the occupation by nonviolent action.
