[Peace-discuss] Angry Arab on Rick Sanchez

Whoa, stating his private tho'ts publicly on his own time... Who does this guy think he is, a politician?? Is CNN trying to maintain its image as an actual news station (evidence to the contrary in SOUTH OF THE BORDER), or did Sanchez diss the wrong minority? Don't we often hear similar statements from e g Letterman, Stewart or Maher, followed by general laughter?
A bigger Q: how did this guy -- a less advantaged minority from his point of view -- NOT get jail time for driving drunk and causing the death of a pedestrian?? --Jenifer

I really hope that Arabs don't make Rick Sanchez of CNN a hero. He is a dumb bigot. And Arabs should know that his target, Jon Stewart, is probably the least prejudiced of all people in the US media (although he has problems on Middle East political issues).  Yes, yes. If he said those remarks against Muslims or Arabs he would not have been fired. We know that. But that is another issue, and he should not be made into a hero.

PS Arab media are widely
 reporting on Sanchez and treating him like a hero, just as I feared.
