But to clarify and re-iterate my point, Bello seems to feel that Obama ever 
cared to do the "right" thing, or actually judges his own actions as "wrong" in 
their failure to achieve goals that Obama clearly does not subscribe to, and 
never did.

The first is just nonsense.  In fact the second piece (by Walter Bello) points 
out what might have been done differently.  But your observation is 
incontestable - and the situation, yes, amazing...
