Ad hominem is the mark of intellectual bankruptcy.

The word ‘denier’ is used to personally attack, intimidate, and cheat 
the argument. It brings shame upon the intellectually bankrupt loser of 
the argument when he finally breaks down and resorts to ad hominem.

‘Wacko’ is the equivalent of ‘denier’.  Like the simple-minded at a 
playground, “You’re a Denier”, “You’re a Wacko”,  “Yes you are.” , No 
I’m not.”, “You big poopy”,   AGW people are reduced to this level when 
they hurl the ‘denier’ word.

Scientific methodology is reason codified, something AGW people perhaps 
either fear, or do not comprehend, as evidenced by their avoidance of it.

Held to the standard of scientific methodology, anthropogenic global 
warming is an hypothesis, not a religion, perpetually open to debate, 
not closed by the narrow mind, never proven, always questioned 
especially by its own proponents.

The proposal of agw, is so broad, so flimsy, so tenuously supported by 
localized cosmic evidence, and so dependent upon the concept of 
‘extrapolating from a one point curve in a blizzard of variables’, that 
its proponents cannot afford to be arrogant, and dare not lower 
themselves to admitting intellectual bankruptcy by resorting to calling 
out the word ‘denier’ to those who would question this hypothesis.

As an hypothesis AGW is fine.  As a religion, it is an embarrassment.
