Onward, Ron!

Thank you for dealing with everything! Don did pass along the McKinley key.

If you and Carol can work the Market middle shift, that'd be very good.
If you bring the money jar at 9:20, all will be well.
We'll put other change in one of the clear plastic boxes.

Karen and I can do either first (yawn) or last (warm) shift --
is anyone else (with a car) available to work either the 7:45am-9:20
or 10:40-noon shifts?

Tomorrow's forecast sounds better than we've had: highs in the 80s,
not quite as damp, mostly sunny.

And, we've submitted for Sweet Corn Fest on Aug 26/27 (more in another note).

Market politics:

The City has a new draft "strategic plan", including plans for
how Farmer's Market policy is to be set:

The proposed 9-member board is pretty food-vendor-heavy, with
four slots for produce vendors, two community-group-and-non-produce
people, a couple City people, and I think one member of the public.
Some produce vendors think the Market should be pretty much
an outdoor grocery store, and that the non-food and community groups
are just taking up valuable space and shopping time. I submitted comments
last week asking for at least an additional member of the public,
on the basis that the Market is supposed to serve the people of the city,
not just the vendors.
