[Peace-discuss] Ought Code Pink to MoveOn?

It is a very interesting phenomenon. The Hitler apologist analogy seems
quite accurate.

It's also disturbing for those of us who sort of like Code Pink.

It seems that there is some sort of biological reaction involved,
hence the wide-eyed stare of amazement.

The Obama-worship/Hitler-worship syndrome seems to be tapping into
some fundamental brain function. Hence the whole business about hope.
I of course would contend that Obamites have bought the same perverted
"ounce of oregano"
that the followers of Hitler and Sauron purchased at the price of their
souls,
and disregarded the real thing.

Indeed it may even be a sort of involuntary reaction that causes the
cognitive dissonance.
Limerance has been suggested as a word to describe the condition, but it
seems to be
deeper yet. Limerance is said to be rather temporary. There seems to
be a segment of the population that is
highly susceptible and others that seem to be completely unaffected.

It certainly goes beyond intellect. The Germans appeared to be
intellectually
sound in many ways yet were completely enthralled by Schickelgruber's
resonant
doctrine. There were many many wake-up calls along the way, but they
proceeded unto
utter destruction, willing to die for a lie.
