Seems like something The Onion would come up with, but it's real. To combat the increasing rate of suicide among active military personnel and veterans (one a day for the first six months of 2012), the US Army is investing $3 million in developing a thyrotropin-releasing hormone nasal spray. TRH supposedly "goes farther" than normal antidepressants and allegedly also induces a sense of euphoria in the user.
