Tim's not on yet, but I see no reason why he wouldn't sign if asked, since
his publicly stated position is stronger, and since he has supported
earlier initiatives of the same group of Members (McGovern, Jones, Amash,
etc.)

*On February 1, Secretary of Defense Panetta announced that the U.S. will
end its combat mission in Afghanistan by “mid- to the latter part of 2013.”
This announcement suggests a welcome and accelerated withdrawal timetable.
Previously, combat operations were supposed to end in 2014. Urge your House
Member to sign a letter endorsing an accelerated troop withdrawal from
Afghanistan.
