Exactley Astrid, and people should NEVER forget this fact !
Max Baccus a dem from Montana was chairing the healthcare committee and REFUSED to allow ANYONE to testiy who advocated national healthcare and instead only had private insurance company lobbyists testify.
Which forced the brave Doctors and Nurses, and other committed activists to speak out and disrupt the hearings and get arrested.

I respect Dr. Gill for his steadfast support for national healthcare and his refusal ( at least to this point in time ) to NOT take any corporate money.
If only he would take a similar stand against the wars of corporate aggresion and the anti-constitutional / anti-magna carta laws that legalize indefinite detention without any right to an attorney or trial.

    This phoney Obama healthcare bill does NOTHING to further the cause of national healthcare for all, in fact in protects and entrenches the private capitalist health insurance industry and the Pharmacetucial industry, and will make working people WORSE OFF , with less money and no and / or inadequate health insurance and it will make OUR work, that is those who are TRUELY " Socialists " and " Progressives"  more difficult !
