My college friend in Los Angeles, whom I spent a day with weekend before last, represented her CA district in Progressive Democrats. She finally gave up on them; they always cave when it matters.
 
When push comes to shove, it doesn't seem to me that Gill has the temperament to buck the leadership of the Democratic Party. I hope I'm wrong.
