[Peace-discuss] AWARE soap-box at the Farmers' Market

Pam has suggested that we put a soap-box (or its equivalent) beside
the AWARE table and declaim a bit to passers-by.
I think it's a great idea. We wouldn't block the passageway, and it
would be no more disruptive than Jamie Hutchinson's plastic trombone
(which I quite liked) in the next booth last weekend.
Chomsky's speech to Occupy Boston (there are copies on the table)
would work - Pam expressed special regard for his talks.
Here's something else that I think would be good: <http://www.salon.com/2012/04/13/the_real_criminals_in_the_tarek_mehanna_case/
>.
It would also be worthwhile if the second person at the table handed
out the flyer-of-the-week to passersby, as we do at Main & Neil.
If there are no serious objections from MOAs or FOAs (Members or
Friends of AWARE), I'll try this on Saturday 19 May.
Anybody got a soapbox?
