Just before the 2008 election, the Bush administration sent US ground troops in terrorist raids into Pakistan. Obama, the "peace candidate," approved. The awful Susan Rice, speaking for Obama, said that he would do much more of the same and condemned McCain for not being belligerent enough. She said the raids were merely "baby steps" by the Bush's administration:

"'That's the kind of policy we have to pursue and continue ... This is a baby step, but it's a baby step in the right direction and something that John McCain hasn't been willing to acknowledge,' Susan Rice, the top foreign policy adviser to Senator Obama, said."

Obama in office of course has introduced an assassination program that has assured that were many babies in the Greater Middle East - literally hundreds so far - who will take no more steps.

"...McCain’s grandstanding is unfortunate, not least of all because it obscures the real reason the Senate should reject the Rice nomination, if and when it is announced: she’s one of the most militant of the New Interventionists who infest the Obama administration’s foreign policy shop. With Rice at the helm, the State Department would become an increasingly belligerent mouthpiece for the militant regime-changers who increasingly dominate our foreign policy councils..."
