[Peace-discuss] A Reformist Strategy to Downsize the Drone Strike Policy

Well, the proof of the pudding is in the eating. Ultimately, it's
realistic if we get a bunch of Members of Congress to call for it.

However, in the interim: the Washington Post editorial board, which as
you know is extremely hawkish, although it is sometimes good on human
rights issues even when it's against the short-term interests of the
Empire (e.g. it's been very critical of the Administration's silence
on human rights abuses in US anti-Iran ally Bahrain), has called for
getting the CIA out of drone strikes.

Here's Human Rights Watch on the same theme in April:

"But sad to say the chances happen never
You have to reach up high and man is low!
We'd all be glad to live in peace forever
It seems that circumstance won't have it so!"
