These offensive billboards are coming down, and it's all thanks to your support.

But the fight isn't over. Can you contribute $12 today to help us stop voter intimidation?

Dear Jenifer,

Big news in our voter suppression billboard campaign: in the past few days, both Clear Channel and Norton Outdoor have agreed to take down the offensive billboards in Ohio and Wisconsin!

Since last week, you and over 130,000 ColorOfChange members and allies came together and demanded that Clear Channel remove outrageous billboards designed to scare people off from voting. NPR's coverage of our campaign1 generated a huge public response, and on Monday Clear Channel announced that they're taking their billboards down.2 Quickly following suit, Norton Outdoor announced this morning on their Facebook page that they are removing their billboards as well.3

Unfortunately, these kinds of right wing attacks on voting rights aren't going to stop, and we need to be prepared. As long as we have the resources, you can be sure we'll always have your back.

Chip in $12 or whatever you can to help fund our Emergency Black Voter Fund.

This is a big victory. Attacks on our voting rights are nothing new, but we will always fight back. While the advertiser who purchased the billboards remains anonymous, Clear Channel and Norton Outdoor agreed to take down the billboards discouraging Black and Latino folks from voting because we demonstrated our commitment to holding them publicly accountable— and they realized that continuing to support voter suppression would harm their business more than it helped.

We have incredible momentum and an opportunity to keep it going. With your support, we can keep the pressure on in the final days of the election season to make it clear that Black folks and our allies have the ability to fight back against voter suppression that targets our communities. It's your voice and your support that power this incredibly important work.

Can you chip in $12 or whatever you can afford to help us stand up to voter suppression?

Thanks and Peace,
