Take it as you will. If offering words from his own agenda is bashing him, so be it. It's up to everyone else to decide what they want to do with this information. I'm not telling anyone who they should vote for. It's not my place to do so.

Whistleblowers: Often
the best source of information about waste, fraud, and abuse in
government is an existing government employee committed to public
integrity and willing to speak out. Such acts of courage and
patriotism, which can sometimes save lives and often save taxpayer
dollars, should be encouraged rather than stifled. We need to empower
federal employees as watchdogs of wrongdoing and partners in
performance. Barack Obama will strengthen whistleblower laws to protect
federal workers who expose waste, fraud, and abuse of authority in
government. Obama will ensure that federal agencies expedite the
process for reviewing whistleblower claims and whistleblowers have full
access to courts and due process. "

The Obama Administration says that it isn't just fulfilling the
office.

Mr. Obama is "making a difference".

Glenn Greenwald reports:

Obama campaign brags about its whistleblower persecutions

Excuse me if I don't join in Democrats' sycophantic cheerleading

for an Obama presidency that has shredded laws and liberties

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2012/sep/05/obama-campaign-brags-about-whistleblower-persecutions

Democrats will spend the week raucously applauding the violence and
killing continuously unleashed by their strong, tough, resolute
Democratic president – whom they'll hail as their "commander-in-chief"
whom we're so blessed to be led by, even though most of them are not in
the military and therefore, by definition, have no "commander", chief
or otherwise. And they will keep cheering for such acts even as the
bodies of his latest innocent victims go unburied. And if any of this
bothers any of us, we'll be drowned out by stirring and deeply
emotional tributes to the kindness and goodness of this great man,
which will make all these unpleasant thoughts about the reality of his
actions blissfully disappear.

A few things. From a pure sense, Occupy in itself
is/was a non partisan movement. Members of Occupy, however, are not
quite so non partisan for the most part. Taking a stand in favor of
Bradley Manning is not going against Obama himself, but rather him
allowing Bradley Manning to be held for this long without trial and in
the conditions he's been held. While going against many policies that
are now in place may appear to be going against Obama, I really don't
look at it that way. I look at it more as going against many policies
this current administration currently has in place. Obama just happens
to be at the head of this administration. I personally feel that doing
anything differently just because there is an election coming up is
going against the spirit of Occupy. Of course, individual members of
Occupy are free to do as they wish.

You can't handle the truth, eh, Ya'aqov?

And you presume to speak for all of the local Occupy folks?

I trust you're informing them of the reasons for your
limitations on free speech.

What have I written from which the eyes of the local Occupiers
must be protected?
