[Peace-discuss] indoor market trouble -- back out, sell nothing, argue?

Our purpose for being at the market has never really been sales - it's been publicity. As someone put it recently, "Obama's policy depends on public ignorance."

We should find a better way to display & distribute (free) information at the market - racks of flyers, posters, etc.

As to the bumper stickers & buttons we already have, we should simply give them away to anyone who says they'll wear/display them.

We can always solicit contributions to support our publicity efforts, via the internet if not at the market itself.

As to the calendars & T-shirts, we should simply make a flyer available telling people where to call to get them. (It'll be our phone number/email.)

Meanwhile, we should insist the city honor the (implied) contract with which we signed up. And sue the bastards if they don't.

We can provide gainful employment for some young local lawyer. --CGE
